How can I view tasks again in the calendar view?

I used to be able to view the task pad in the weekly calendar view. Now, for
some reason, I cannot.

Help!
 
Posting your version would help (next time?) but here's a way that works in
all versions:

move your cursor to the right edge of the screen and your cursor will
change. to a line and arrows. Drag it to the left and a line will appear.
Let it go. You must drag a fair way before it will do anything.
