How can I use the active cell address as a value

How can I use the active cell address as a value as a start for a
macro.

I want to fill a certain range in one column with a formula.
This should be the column in which the active cell is positioned.

Any idea?

Cheers,

Harold

One way:

To fill row 2:100:

Cells(2, ActiveCell.Column).Resize(99, 1).FormulaR1C1 = _
"=R[-1]C[]+1"

You're going to need to provide more information on what you want. In a
macro, you can use the value

ActiveCell.Address
ActiveCell.Value = "your formula"

Not sure what you want to do so can't give any more detail.
