how can I use selected lines on a form for criteria in a query

I have created a form that displays a selection of lines. I can highlight a
single line and use this as a criteria for a query. I am unable to get the
query to use a multiple line selection.
 
What's a line?

What does the criteria statement contain?

Can you save the data to a table then link it in the needed query?
