how can I use an action button to open a slide in the edit format.

I am creating a presentation which will be opened by others using action
buttons. I need them to be able to open it in a slide format so they can edit
their own version, rather than in a presentation format. Using Power Point
2003

Your question is faint ... if u want to open presentation through a action
button in a separate slideshow.... You can set the action Hyper link to a
..ppt file (not .pps)

I believe that the hyperlink will always open in Slide Show mode (even if
it is a PPT), not in Edit mode.
