How can I use a calculation macro in an update Query?

The macro has quite a few conditional clauses but it works on the form keying
from field to field, but when I try to use it in an update query, it doesn't.
My current solution works but is tedious.

Can you please supply some more specific details? What is your update
query? What are you trying to do? What is the macro? What is your
"current solution"? Maybe just a description of the functionality you want?
