How can I unfreeze Word if when I try typing it says "locked for .

Can anyone help me with this. Every time I try to use Word I cant type, it's
like most of the applications are frozen. Then, if I try to type it says
"locked for editing". How can I unlock it? Help please!

Sounds like "reduced functionality mode" because you have not activated the
software or because you have a trial version of Office that has expired.
What happens if you start Word and click on Help | Activate Product?
