How can I stop active-x copy paste problems in Outlook

Whenever I try to do a simple copy paste action with an attachement in
Outlook I getthe message "Error occured during the creation of an Active-X
control". How can I stop this?
 
You'll need to be a whole lot more specific than that and provide more
details about your configuration.
Version of Outlook?
Type of account?
What are you trying to copy/paste where?
Exact steps to reproduce?
Etc...
