how can I stop a sending message that is not in my outbox

This morning I can receive messages but not send any messages!
All the messages were queuing in the Outbox (there were very light mails). I
deleted them. I disabled my firewall as well. Nothing changed.
Actually, on the left bottom side, there is the following message (sending
message 1 of 1). But there is no message in the outbox (1 of 1). I have never
compose this message. So I do not know how to delete it and this message is
preventing me from sending the other mails.
what can I do
