In a Report?
Reports must be sorted using the Report's sorting and Grouping dialog.
In report Design View:
View + Sorting and Grouping

If this is an Access database, create a Query on the table containing
the names and addresses; specify Ascending on the LastName field in
the table.

If your labels are in Outlook, or Outlook Express, or Word, please ask
the question in a newsgroup supporting the program you're using; this
newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, a database program.
