How can I "Shift + Enter" text in Excel?

I would like to have heading text in bold and then a description directly
underneath(in the same cell).

If I Ctrl + V text from outside Excel that has this layout, it works
perfectly but I want to know how to do this in Excel.

Is this possible? If so, can you give me directions plus the keyboard
shortcut if there is one?

Just FYI - and maybe to help make life a little easier. It is not necessary
to format the cell first - using alt-enter in a cell automatically turns on
wrap text.

Hi,

You cannot use Shift Enter in Excel as you use in Microsoft word. Press
Alt+Enter to adds addition rows. But the behaviour of excel cell is similar
as Shif Enter in word.

Note: For example: If you use Shif Enter in Word the whole line of text is a
still a continuos line with a forced return. Which means if you set Tab for
such text, the whole text will change formatting if you adjust the formatting
Tab. Like wise in Excel even if you add addition paragraph using Alt+Enter.
You can make sentences bold, Italics and so on. But centering text can be
applied only for the whole text and not individual lines.
