How can I set up "Auto Date" on Word2007?

V

Vince

Hi,
I have a document that I use frequently to report expense and need to set up
a Macro or something of that nature so that every time I open the document
the Current Date is populated automatically.? If you know how I appreciate it.

The quick way is to press Alt+Shift+D to insert a date field.

See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/DateFields.htm.

In Word 2007, if you want to use a dialog instead of the keyboard shortcut,
you insert fields by clicking the Quick Parts button on the Insert tab of
the ribbon, and choosing Field from the menu. Other than that, it's all the
same as described in the article.
