how can I send a video attachment

I'm trying to attach a small video clip from my digital camera that is only
16 seconds long but it keeps telling me the file is too big and it won't send
it. Is there a way to do this?
 
you could try zipping it, if that doesn't help, you'll need to find some
other way to get it to the other person.

How big is it? It might send using a different mail service, such as gmail.
