How can I send a group email to a color catagory re: yellow= mail

I have catagorized my contacts and cannot figure out how to send an e-mail to
a certain catagory. For instance the yellow tab is for a certain group of
contacts for a specific letter. Purple another, etc. I am so frustrated.

Are these BCM contacts or Outlook contacts? That matters.
