how can I save the email in inbox and outbox into harddrive?

I would like to know how can I save the email from inbox and outbox to Hard
drive and external drive?

If using Exchange Server, export all your mail folders to a pst file and
save that on your HDD. If you connect to a POP server then your email
already IS on your HDD....in a pst file. If you want to save that onto an
external HDD then just copy it (with Outlook closed).
