How can I save embedded email pictures as gif files instead of bm.

I've received a number of animated gif files that are embedded in e-mail and
not as attachments, when I try to save by right clicking and then selecting
SAVE AS, my only file choice is .bmp when I save these files as bmp then are
no longer animated. Is there a way to save them as gif files. I'm totally
lost on this one.
