how can i save a word doc file to gif or jpg?

hi im trying to save a file that is .doc to .gif or .jpg
i installed the converter pack (or so i thought) and i still dont have the
option...
help please........

That's not what the converter pack does. To do this you need a special kind
of 'printer' driver which produces a graphical output. SnagIt will do this
and there is a demo - www.techsmith.com SnagIt will output to jpg and GIF
and just about any other graphical format you may wish to use.
