how can I run an image viewer application from Access?

How can I attach images (in a folder) to a record and launch the image
viewer from Access to view the images? Is there a Microsoft image viewer
application for this purpose?

Check out the Access pages on my website, you will find a tutorial on
handling pictures within an Access database which will do what you want.
