I guess there is no direct option in powerpoint to save a picture just by
right click. work arounds i saw for this are copy and paste the picture.
if u dont want to use that, you can save the powerpoint as html and you get
all the images in a folder.
another option is to write a macro to export the picture as jpeg

What version of PowerPoint? With the newer versions you should be able to
click to select the picture, right click to see the pop-up menu, left click
on Save As Picture.
