How can I rid Page 1 watermark in Pagebreak Preview?

In my excell worksheet, when I am in Paebreak Preview I get what I can only
call a watermark that says "Page 1" Page 2" etc. It is distracting b/c it's
har to see the text behind it. This goes away in Normal view, but I like
using Pagebreak view.
Suggestions?
