How can I restrict which contacts transfer when I synch with Treo.

I am wondering how I can lock down certain contacts in order not to transfer
them to the treo from my outlook contacts? Please let me know if this is
possible. Thanks!!
 
This is not an Outlook question. Ask the people supporting your
synchronization software.
