how can I receive and open a task assigned thru a pop connection

I am assigning a task in Outlook 2003 sp1 and sending this to a pop3
recipient. He also has Outlook 2003 sp1. The message come in to him as an
attachment without the accept or decline buttons, just a reply type toolbar.
The error message that occurs is " Can't open this item. Outlook cannot do
this action on this type of attachment"
 
You need to make sure that you have sent this Task as Outlook Rich Text,
have you got a Contact for this person, if so go into the Contact and double
click the email address and set the format to Rich Text. Alternately double
click the address in the To line and set the sending format there.
 
Thank you Noel, That fixed it, would have been nice if this was in the help
file or the KB
