How can I place a hyperlink on a swf file?

I have a swf file that I would like to be able to link to another web page.
For some reason, I'm not finding a way to link the swf file. I tried a
regular hyperlink and I tried hot spots....neither works.

Hope you can help me.

HTML cannot put a link onto Flash. If you need a link in that file, you
must add it to the Flash actionscript. You cannot do this with HTML or with
FP.
