HOW CAN I PARTLY MASKED DATA ON A COLUMN

when i send out a spreadsheet and have custmer addrress iwant delite the
adress partly to protect the custmer
 
Can you not just delete the column or is it needed for another reason?
Do they need to see a certain part of it?
