how can i open my folder with username and password

My hard drive have some problem, and cannot start, after
I fixed it, reinstall windows XP. and rename the old
Windows XP in different name and I cannot open my old
document folder (was need user name and password). I even
creat same username and password in the new Windows XP and
still not working, and there are any way, I can get back
my documents?

As long as they were not encrypted in the previous build you should be able
to take ownership and then gain access.

Click > Start > Help and Support > In the Search text box type in ownership
and click the arrow. Then click Take ownership of a file or folder and
follow directions
