How can I open 1995 powerpoint file with MS powerpoint 2007?

    Opening older versions of powerpoint files with Powerpoint 2007 is a security
    issue or a compatability issue? How I can solve the problem.

    AFAIK the only way is to get someone with 2002 / 2003 to open them and resave
    in the later format
