How can I keep the Acrobat toobox from appearing in Outlook?

Although I go to the custom menu in outlook, I can not stop the Adobe Acrobat
Toolbox from reappearing on the upper menubar of Outlook. I have deselected
it and deleted it, but it keeps coming back.
 
via the add-in manager:
1.. On the Outlook 2003 Tools menu, click Options, and then click the
Other tab.
2.. Click Advanced Options.
3.. Click Add-In Manager.

I have the same problem, but don't have the this plug-in in the Add-in
Manager. Any other ideas?

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Adobe Acrobat installation and
select Modify. You can disable various features, including the Acrobat
toolbar in Outlook.

I tried the other fixes that people have posted, and this was the easiest
and most effective.
