Does anyone know a way to increase the font size on HELP pages, so these, not
so young eyes can read HELP pages without dirtying my screen with the tip of
my nose?

Since the help files are essentially HTML, you can use the same trick to
change text size in Help as you can in Internet Explorer: hold down the
Control key, and use the mouse wheel.

I am not sure whether you refer to Help in Microsoft Access (the subject of
this newsgroup) but if you do, check Access Help topic "Change the
appearance of a Help topic".

Most Microsoft Help (CHM files) use the Font settings of Internet Explorer
so you may want to set the Text Size in Internet Explorer to "Larger" or
"Largest" and then try a Help topic and see if it works.

Also, a big monitor would help (I picked up 2 cheap second-hand HP 21'' CRT
monitors and they worked perfectly for me!)

I'm with you.
I think it's just awful that you cannot do this within the Help its
self.
Open Outlook express. Click on View + Text Size.
Set the Font size to which ever works best for you.
