Back in August this year, I asked the same question (How can I import a .png
file to Power Point) and a TAJ Simmons very kindly told me how to do it.
I successfully carried this out and now I need the same operation. I could
not remember what to do, so went to have a look at the instruction given me,
to find that I can no longer access the file as it has now timed out .
My apologies for forgetting and would be grateful if you would refresh my
memory - Many thanks.
Best regards

No problem. From the main PowerPoint menu bar, choose Insert, Picture, From
File. Browse to the file you want, doubleclick it and voila, the deed is did.

Follow Steve's instructions to re-insert the image today.

To search for old newsgroup entries in future, you can also use the Google
Groups search. Entering some words of problem description and restricting
the search to *powerpoint* usually works well.

Of course, you are always welcome to post your questions here.

Best regards,
Ute
