How can I hide my email address from web spiders?

I'm not HTML savvy. I have heard that you can keep your e-mail address from
being picked up by the web spiders if you use Java script. How do I do that
or is there some magic button on Frontpage 2002 I haven't found yet?

Another way is to make your e-mail address a JPG or GIF and place it on your
site as an image.

Which would require the visitor to input the email address physically into
their mail client?
Or, if you linked the address to it, the email address would still be in the
html source, which is where the spam bots would read it.

Use <code>@</code> around the ampersand symbol ...
