How can I get rid of the email button in WinWord?

It's annoing. When you click on it rroneously the sceen splits and you must
send any mail or you cannot repair this. I cannot use Outlook.
 
Which version of Word? How did you put it in? (I've never noticed an
"email button" or accidentally clicked it; where is it?)
 
The send to mail recipient button adds a mail dialog to the document.
Clicking it again toggles the dialog off again.

In Word 2007, I believe you will have to add such a button to the QAT (via
Office button | Word Options, Customize).
