How can I get email headers from my sent messages?

When using outlook how can I get the full headers from my emails. I can get
the ones from replys except its in another window (under options) and if I
try to get them for my sent messages they aren't there at all?

The headers are inserted by your mail server, not Outlook. Therefore, you
will not see any headers in your sent messages because they are saved prior
to sending to the mail server.

You might want to send a message to yourself and view the received message
header.

Add yourself as a recipient to your e-mails (in the Cc field, or in the
Bcc field if you don't want others seeing that you are sending yourself
a copy through your own mail server). The headers aren't shown because
not all of them would be there, anyway. Many do not get added until
AFTER your mail server accepts your message (and then tries to send it).
If you send yourself a copy through your mail server, those headers will
get added and you can look at them as you can with any other received
mail item.
