How can I get Comments to appear when PPT is in the Slide Show mod

Comments appear when I am looking at individual PPT slides but if I am
looking at my presentation in the Slide Show mode, the comments don't appear.
I am sending my PPT to others to review and will not know if they are
looking at the presentation in individual slide mode or slide show mode. I
have Microsoft Office Powerpoiint 2003.

This is by design -- so if you miss removing a comment and are truly giving
a presentation, you won't be embarrassed by it showing up unexpectedly.

You can convert PPT 2003-style comments to old-style comments, and they'll
show up in show view. See

Well dang. So they do. That's an evil little weevil in PowerPoint 2003.

If you create comments in 2000 directly, they display in slideshow mode in
2003.

Confirmed. It's a bug in PPT 2003 and Viewer 2003.
2002 too I'd imagine, but haven't checked yet.

I don't know that this is a bug. It may be by design.

Yep. PPT 2000's comments appear in slide show view in PPT2000.
Which I think is a bit odd, but I can buy that if it's deliberate there, it'd
logically be the same in later versions. OTOH, if PPT 2002+ hides its own
comments in Slide Show view, I'd expect it to do so with earlier version
comments.

Whatevah. At least we know what it does, if not why.
