How can I find out how to write a mission statement as a document

I am trying to create a mission statement for a class project and would like
to know how to present it on a document.

To my knowledge, which is a little bit, there is no preferred "presentation"
of a mission statement. It's just something you write. I would say there's
no particular format of any kind. You might want to see something like this,
