I am exporting my e-mails to Access in the hopes that I can create an ongoing
chronology of all my files (i.e. scanned images, text notes and e-mails). To
do this I need the dates of the e-mails to export to a particular field in
Access (or Excel). I can't seem to do this...Does anybody know how I can do
this?

You can't change the fields available for export. However, if you use Access to set up a linked table connected to your mail folder, you will see the Received date among the available properties. Third-party export tools are also available; see http://www.outlookcode.com/d/customimport.htm#tools
