How can I edit CUSTOM.DIC & work in Word doc at the same time?

I wish to be able to write in word and at the same time, in a separate
window, edit the entries in CUSTOM.DIC.

There's nothing stopping you. Custom.dic is a plain text file which you can
open in Word, Notepad etc.

Thanks for your answer, yet what i wish is to use the tiny program/window
within the Word that re-sorts the CUSTOM.DIC entries automatically. Although
i understand i can open CUSTOM.DIC in Word and sort it all i want, but
automatically... using that cute little program...

You can only do that (through tools > options) exclusively. You can't edit a
document at the same time.
