Since this is a Windows XP newsgroup, you should ask in the appropriate
newsgroup. You have Vista, but need to overwrite Windows 7? Huh?

When you repost elsewhere, you're going to need to explain to the folk there
what exactly you mean by that phrase - they'll need much more information to
go on than "i get some problem".
I need to overwrite on Windows 7 not remove windows.

When you repost elsewhere, you're going to need to explain to the folk there
what exactly you mean by *that* phrase, too.
I am new for this OS

"This OS", be it Windows Vista or 7, isn't what this here group's about.

So this is a question on Windows XP how?
But, i get some problem while installtion.

Oh yes. The single error that occurs in all OS installations. No
other errors are possible. That means just saying "some problem"
always refers to the one error.

When you take you car in for a repair, do you tell them to fix "some
problem"?
I need to overwrite on Windows 7

Oh, now its Windows 7, not Windows Vista. Please review your posts
before you submit them.
not remove windows. I am new for this OS, Please help me. How can i
do?

The installation CD for the new OS should offer the option of
reformatting a partition. So have it format your old OS partition and
install the new OS there.

There are lots of linux newsgroups. Ask there.
