How can I disable a Local Area Connection

If you want to disable your Local Area Connection just disable your
network cart.

Start -> Control Panel -> (differnt depending on your OS version) ->
Network Devices

Then right click and select disable.
 
Registry entry?? You just right-click on the Connection Icon and pick
"disable".
