how can I delete old addresses from the letter wizard

I started using word 2003 to print my addresses on envelopes, however while I
was figuring out how to do it correctly I created several partial and
ioncorrect addresses and now I can't delete them from the database. HELP!!
 
Can you open the database, find the records in the Access table, and remove
them?

If not, that is very strange.
