Find an existing database that does what you want; you can see the
very many Resources links below:

Jeff Conrad's resources page:
http://home.bendbroadband.com/conradsystems/accessjunkie/resources.html

The Access Web resources page:
http://www.mvps.org/access/resources/index.html

Or write one yourself that meets your requirements; or hire an Access
expert to develop one for you.

Asking unpaid volunteers here to hand you a fully worked out
customized database - without providing any specifications, yet - is
just a little bit unreasonable!

I've created an Activity Tracking database, in the past. How to create it
certainly cannot be described in useful detail in a newsgroup post, but it
was not "rocket science". Have you searched the archives of this newsgroup
and the USENET newsgroup comp.databases.ms-access at
http://groups.google.com? Have you examined the templates available with
your version of Access? Have you examined the templates available at
http://office.microsoft.com?

And, there is no "industry-standard definition" of "database for employee
training/task track". So even if you were hiring this work done, you would
have to provide, in detail, what specific information you want to record and
track, and how you would want it presented on-screen and in reports.

If you have fields named Jun 2007, Feb 2007, etc. then you haven't
read the resource materials I offered. Take a look at the "Database
Design 101" link on Jeff's site.

Also, [Completed to Date] sounds like it should NOT exist in a table,
if it can be calculated on demand from a totals query.

Note that you have not posted *ANYTHING* that would help someone
unfamiliar with your business determine what's required. You're
familiar with the subject; we are not! We don't know what a "task" is,
what it means to be completed, what you mean by "jun 2007" as an
(apparent) field name...

Please, when you compose a post, take a couple of minutes to look at
it, clearing your mind of your own knowledge of the context; read it
as if you had just walked in the door for the first time and knew
nothing about your business. If it doesn't make sense from that
viewpoint, edit it until it does. Thank you!
