How can I create a monthly planner

S

Sue 2

I have seen some preformatted Excel calendars and planners but I have
seen nothing like the one I would really like to have.

Can you help me find one or explain how I can create one. I use Excel
2003.

Here are the details of what I am trying to create ....

--------------------------------
(1) I would like each day to be on a separate line. On the left it says
"Tuesday, January 1st" then the line is blank.

(2) Then I would like each Sat Sun to be on a lightly tinted background
(so when I count days off the planner I avoid these non-working days).

(3) I would like each month separated by a thick line.

(4) And this is a bit strange ... I want to print this planner but I want
all the months to run together. (In other words, each month is NOT on a
single page). I will glue the pages together and keep then in a zig-zag
fold. The main idea behind this is to be able to see in a single view
all the events between two dates.

Hi Sue,

send me an email to:

pashurst <at> auditel.net (change the obvious),

and I'll send you a calendar file that I put together some time ago.
It doesn't do exactly what you describe, but it does allow you to
enter dates and activities in any order on one sheet, and then a
calendar view is available on a second sheet, showing up to 7 events
per day, arranged Sunday to Saturday across the page. Each month can
be selected from a drop-down, and then printed out (so you could glue
them together).

Hope this helps.
