How can I create a hyperlink to an email in Front Page 2002?

I am not sure why, but all the sudden the hyperlinks I've created to email
messages are not working in Front Page. When I am in the Front Page
software, I can Ctrl-C and the email I want pops up, but when I go to
Internet Explorer and view our Intranet, in the address bar it says the page
cannot be displayed. What would possibly cause these recent hyperlinks not
to connect?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Heather

Can you provide examples of the links?

Sure. The part I'm working on is an email from Progressive Insurance Co.
that I have saved to our Network Drive, in the Progressive Folder, and named
according to the subject of the email. The link should be
N:\Intranet\Progressive\Drive Program.eml but only shows in the Insert
Hyperlink box as ..\Progressive\Drive Program.eml. I'm assuming the .. means
it's pulling over the first part, but maybe not? When I CTRL-C it pulls up
the email with no problem. I don't understand why it won't work when I open
Explorer. ??

the ..\progressive\drive program.eml is what you call a "relative path"
rather than including the full path bag to N: drive

if you publish and view the page by http: is should work correctly. the ".."
just means "go back/up one level in the directory path structure."

I believe Thomas meant "please provide an example of a web page where the
links aren't working."

I don't know you can link directly to *.eml (email message files)....?
*.eml is only Outlook Express format - and there are hundreds of programs
out there that may use something different. Not everyone uses
Outlook/Outlook Express.
