How can I convert or copy an entire ppt doc to Word?

I need to take the full text in a ppt presentation and recreate it in a Word
document. I can select all the cells on a page and copy and paste, but is
there a way to export or copy the entire document? Or is there a way to
convert a file.
I don't have acrobat or I would convert it to pdf then extract it to word.

In PowerPoint, click File > Save As.
Under save as type, click on the dropdown, scroll down to the bottom and
look for Outline (.rtf). Click Save.

Have you tried File > Send to > Microsoft Office Word? That is limited but
useful. There are also add-ins that can give you even more control on how
to get something to Word.

Brilliant! Thanks, I knew it had to be a simple solution.

You can click the Microsoft Office Button in the upper left of the ribbon,
point to Publish, and click Create handouts in Microsoft Office Word. That
opens several options for how to send the content. I think this turns all the
slides into picture files, so it can make for a big Word file. YOu also have
the option to just send the PPT content as an outline.
