How can I connect to other computers in a different workgroup?

I'm running a home network (Linksys router) with the HOME workgroup name. I
have a work PC running XP SP1 (connected to my company's domain) that I would
like to connect to this network. I can reach the internet, but I am having
trouble accessing the other computers. All the other computers can all
connect to each other.

I can ping the other computers, and when I click "run" and enter the IP
address of the other computers, I can get to the shares on the other
computers (but it is REALLY slow...). Other OS's include ME and 98.

I'm running XP SP1 on the work computer and do not have any firewalls
running (including the XP one).

in this case, you may want to use ip instead hostmane.
