I have Outlook 2003 and have been using it for years now. I am having
problems with sending e-mails such as photos or say an e-mal reply to Craigs
list for example with out my computer automatically using WLM I really only
want to use Outlook, but this interference is causing me some problems...Help
please.

P.S. I do have Outlook set as my default e-mail program..so I do not know
whay my computer chooses WLM over Outlook.

It is standard in vista, but you can try
start menu, control panel, add/remove programs, change windows components

the sequence and names may not be totally correct but should give an idea.
I have not used vista for a while

Thanks, I tried looking for any name that might sound like WLM...even
searched for it in the search option...no luck...I was hoping to even find
WLM so I can go to the options there and see if that can fix it. UGH this is
frustrating! Thanks for all of your willingness to help guide me on this...I
do appreciate it so much!

Oh my goodness, YES I made a mistake it is Windows Mail not Windows Live
Mail...I am so sorry for that! Ok so why would they make it part of the OS
and make it difficult to disable if you choose to use something else?!?!

I forgive you. :)
You can't disable it because IT IS part of the OS.
Once you've installed WLM you just choose it as your default email program.

Are you sure you mean Windows Live Mail and not Windows Mail? They are
2 different programs. Windows Mail comes with Vista and you are correct, I
don't see it in the list of programs to uninstall.

Windows Live Mail on the other hand has to be downloaded and installed and
shows in the list of programs thru control panel > programs as "Windows Live
Mail".
