How can I clear my IE address bar?

Is there any way to keep my IE address bar from keeping a list of recently visited Web sites? Or at least to erase the lists it does keep

You need to delete the History. With IE open, go to Tools > Options >
General tab. Click on "Clear History" and set the number of days to keep
history to 0.

On your toolbar, under TOOLS select INTERNET OPTIONS, and once there, choose the clear history option. that should clear the addressbar.
