How can I change a chart type in Power Point?

I have created a bar graph but need to change it to a line graph. Help tells
me to go to 'Chart Type' on the tool bar....I don't see that. Help!
 
Eileen,

double click your existing bar graph, this puts powerpoint into "graph mode"
as I call it.

Then you can right click the graph (or look on the above menus) and choose
"chart type"

Doubleclick the chart
You should then see a "Chart" item appear on the main menu bar.
Choose Chart, Chart Type from the main menu bar, pick the Line chart type and
subtype you'd like and you're in business.
