I am learning web design and need to know how to change the extention on a

Thanks in advance for your reply.

What you're asking really doesn't make sense: HTML displays images from
files such as .gif, .jpg or .png, it doesn't contain the images.

However, you've asked this in an incorrect newsgroup. This newsgroup is for
questions about Access, the database product that's part of Office
Professional. You'll need to find one that's related to HTML or web design.

Those are two different kinds of files. If you just change the name, it
will just confuse the software and likely you will not be able to use the
file until it is renamed.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.
