How can I block uninvited e-mail known as Investor Alerts?

I have recently started receiving Investor Alerts, each time from a different
sender. I do not want nor am interested in receiving these but there is
nothing on the e-mails (like, say, 'unsubscribe') to reflect the fact that I
do not want them sent to me. Is there a way to block these, bearing in mind
that every sender so far has been different. Do I have to reply to every
sender? I've received approximately 30 so far and have deleted them but it's
a continual uninvited nuisence.

Do not reply to the sender - that only verifies the address is correct. If
your antispam filter isn't catching them look for a common word in the
subject or body and create a filter to move them to the deleted folder - in
this case, filtering on investor alerts in the subject should work.

First of all, never reply to the emails. Spammers like to get your message
because they then know that the address is a good address and you will
probably get more spam because you replied. Only reply to emails that you
have confidence are legit.

You need to create a rule to delete the investor alerts. In order to do
that you will need to find something in common with all the emails (which is
sometimes difficult or impossible).

Another way is to only accept email from addresses in your contact manager.
Anyone not in your address book would have their mail either deleted or put
into a different mail box based upon a rule that you create.

I too am getting this garbage spam stuff.
They are sneaky. Their message comes with a "picture with words about
investments" rather than a word document. It is not an attachment file it is
imbeded into the body. So the fitlers are not catching the words because it
is a picture.
I guess I will have to go the buddy list or contact list route.
