How can I automatically save an attachment when a mail arrives?

I would like to create a rule that strips an attachment out of a mail when it
arrives and saves it to the desktop. The file will change on a daily basis
but its name and the save location will always be the same so it will need to
write over itself every time

No rule in plain Outlook can do this. Perhaps some VBA code can. Check in
