how can I archive flagged messages in Outlook?

When archiving messages, those marked with a Follow-Up Flag do not transfer
to the archive file. How can I get those files to archive with everything
else? I don't want to remove the flags before archiving, nor do I want to
move these messages manually.

Have you checked the modified date for those items? Archiving works on
modified date.

That must be the issue. Since I'm archiving, then bringing back the archive
and moving the files back into their original folder all in the same day, the
modify date (which appears to have an accuracy of 1 day) can't archive it
because it isn't older than "today".

Guess I'll have to test that theory tomorrow!

Sure enough, a day later the archive of that material can be performed. Good
to know.
